At all levels of education, providing students with the opportunity to illustrate concepts allows information to be processed in multiple ways. This can be achieved through creating timelines, modeling problems, interactive notebooks, data collection and analysis, or mapping out a rough draft of a story with pictures. Drawing can have a positive impact on learning by helping students visualize and understand complex concepts.
